Retro Beat ‘Em Up ‘The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warriors’ Gets PS4 and Switch Release Date in North America

ININ Games announced that the Taito developed classic beat ’em up arcade title, The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warrior, will launch on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in North America on October 15. The game is available now in Europe.

Fans who wish to purchase the game will be able to pick it up digitally for $19.99 or they can pick up the physical Day 1 Edition for $29.99. The Day 1 Edition including a printed manual, stickers, and a poster. Additionally, the team is including a special compensation gift for the delayed-release by including two-character cards of Raiden and Yaksha. These cards are exclusive to the North American release.

The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warrior brings the series to a new generation of gamers. In this re-mastered reboot of the series, players will be able to experience the game with better audio and visuals but still retaining the 16-bit pixel art of the classic SNES version.

The Ninja Saviors: Return of the Warrior has players assume the role of one of five android ninjas who are taking on an enemy known as Banglar. As you could have guessed, players will have to face many of his goons along the way in classic side-scrolling brawler fashion. Fans can also enjoy the game’s two-player co-op mode and an online ranking system. The game feature eight levels with various bosses to overcome.
