SFB Games, known for Tangle Tower and Crow Country, has announced that The Mermaid Mask will launch on July 16, 2026, for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
This entry occurs on a submarine, involving a locked-room murder of Captain Magnus Mortuga. Players will steer Detective Grimoire and his partner Sally, piecing together clues, interrogating suspects, and navigating a hand-crafted 3D environment.
The title boasts British humor, featuring expressive hand-drawn characters, fully voice-acted dialogue, and a cinematic score performed by the Budapest Art Orchestra.
Clues are fully 3D interactive, implementing a tactile puzzle-solving experience. A demo is already available on Steam.
