Psychological Horror ‘The Medium’ Gets December Release Date for Xbox Series X and PC
Bloober Team announced that their psychological horror adventure, The Medium, will launch on Xbox Series X and PC on December 10.
To celebrate the announced the team released a new trailer showing some of the game’s environments. While we don’t get any jump scares, we see some of the spookier places that we’ll be able to explore when the game launches.
During gameplay, players will assume Marianne’s role, a medium who is hounded by visions living and interacting across two worlds, the real and the spirit realm. Everything needs to be questioned during gameplay. Players need to view events from two different angles, both of which contain scary themes.
The game will be composed by Akira Yamaoka, who is known for the Silent Hill series. This is in hopes to create an atmosphere for both of the words within the game.
Currently, it seems like The Medium will be exclusive to Xbox Series X and PC. The team has not announced if it will be coming to other platforms, but they seem to be focused on Microsoft’s next-gen console from their messaging. Still, the developer has brought their previous titles to other consoles with Blair Witch recently announced for VR.
