Psychological Horror ‘The Medium’ Gets PS5 Release Date Set for September With Physical Release for All Platforms

Bloober Team announced that their psychological horror adventure, The Medium, is coming to PlayStation 5 on September 3, 2021.

The PS5 version will feature DualSense support to provide haptic feedback during gameplay. Further, a retail version will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox One X, and PC called The Medium: Two Worlds Special Launch Edition, which will come with a Steelbook, soundtrack, and 32-page hardcore artbook. In Japan, the publisher NA Publishing will bring the game to PS5 and PC by Holiday 2021.

During gameplay, players will assume Marianne’s role, a medium hounded by visions living and interacting across two worlds, the real and the spirit realm. Everything needs to be questioned during gameplay. Players need to view events from two different angles, both of which contain scary themes.

The game is composed by Akira Yamaoka, who is known for the Silent Hill series. This is in hopes of creating an atmosphere for both of the words within the game.
