The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel to Receive Console Release This December; Physical on Switch

Eastasiasoft announced they will publish the Yanyang Mobile-developed horror adventure, The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch in Dember 2021.

Further, the publisher revealed that physical editions on Switch will be available through Playasia at 8 am PT on September 16. That same day, Love Esquire will also be available for physical pre-order from the same developer making the first time two Switch Limited Editions have been launched simultaneously. The physical release will include the game, manual, soundtrack CD, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box, each limited to 2000 units.

The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel was released on PC-via steam in 2017. The game follows seven people who suffer a strange curse. The game plays out like a horror-themed drama inspired by Asian horror films. Players will make choices during dialogue, which alter the events of the narrative and affect the fate of the characters. Some characters can die or live, the choice is on the player, but it seems like everything has a consequence.

We’ll keep you updated on the official release date for The Letter: A Horror Visual Novel.
