The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Reveals Final Trailer & Renders

Nintendo has premiered the final pre-launch trailer for their upcoming open-world adventure game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. This highly anticipated video has Zelda series producer Eiji Anouma hyping up the title, followed by the trailer itself. The world is showcased alongside Link’s place in it as he Kingdom Hearts III Sora-dives. Various gameplay actions and parts of the map are highlighted, too, with new characters, story beats, and more.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, focusing on Link and Zelda after the latter was saved from having to contend with Ganon for years upon years.

A young warrior who fought alongside Link in the latest trailer. He’s a skilled archer from the Rito tribe, a race with a bird-like appearance who use their powerful wings to soar through the sky.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023, for $69.99. The pricing has been a rather controversial subject, with Nintendo staff, including Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser, commenting that they believe the game is worthy of that price point.
