The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Final Trailer Premiering Tomorrow; 3 Minutes
Nintendo has announced that a new trailer for the upcoming mainline Zelda game, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, will debut tomorrow, April 13, 2023, at 7 AM PT/ 10 AM ET.
The video’s description states that this will be the title’s final pre-launch trailer, and fans can anticipate it to be roughly three minutes long. However, the exact contents of the trailer have not been clarified. Still, it’s safe to expect a focus on the scenery, new gameplay mechanics, and perhaps a teensy weensy bit of story.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is a direct sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, focusing on Link and Zelda after the latter was saved from having to contend with Ganon for years upon years.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom will launch for Nintendo Switch on May 12, 2023, for $69.99. The pricing has been a rather controversial subject, with Nintendo staff, including Nintendo of America president Doug Bowser, commenting that they believe the game is worthy of that price point.
