Beat’em Up Sidescroller Indie Game ‘The Legend of Tianding’ Gets Release Date in New Trailer
During Indie Houses Direct 2021, publisher Neon Doctrine released a new trailer, finally unveiling the release date of The Legend of Tianding.
The Legend of Tianding is a sidescrolling action game about Liao Tianding, the legendary Taiwanese Folk Hero. During gameplay, players will explore Colonial Japanese Taiwan environments in the early 20th century. The goal here is to “rob the rich, feed the poor, and expose the darkness lurking in the heart of Taipei.”
The game is based on real events, real people, and real situations. The Legend of Tianding is an exploration of a place and time often overlooked and presented in the style of traditional Chinese manhua. Battle the colonial authorities in style with a tanto, waist sash, and fast-paced Kung Fu in tightly tuned technical combat.
The Legend of Tianding is coming to PC via Steam and Nintendo Switch on October 27, 2021.
