The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Limited Edition Preorders Now Open

Besides sharing a new trailer for The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, NIS America has revealed a Limited Edition for the game and preorders are open. The game is expected to release in early 2023 for PC, PS4 and Switch, continuing the events of The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero.

Zero and Azure form what’s known as the Crossbell arc, telling the story of a police force known as the Special Support Section. Doing various missions for the populace, they do their best to protect the peace and the well-being of the citizens of the city-state of Crossbell.

You can preorder the Trails to Azure limited edition on NIS America store, with versions for Switch and PS4 with the exact same goodies. Besides the game itself, it includes a hardcover art book, a soundtrack CD with 10 of the game’s headbanging songs, a cloth poster (17” x 24”), an acrylic stand with the “new recruits” (Noel, Wazy, KeA, and Zeit), a steelbook and a collector’s box. It costs $89.99.

While the company mentions the artwork may change and the items are not in scale, check out an image of the whole package and its contents below:

Moreover, Trails to Azure-centric merchandise is available for pre-order; “An Evening at Mishelam” 1000-piece puzzle and the “Azure Legends” Acrylic Print. The former costs $27.99 while the latter is a hefty $299.99. Further, both products possess general 2023 release windows.

A deluxe edition is also mentioned on Trails to Azure‘s official website, including a digital soundtrack and a mini artbook instead of the whole package. Those can be bought from Amazon, GameStop and Best Buy. However, the links available there lead to store pages that don’t specify if they’re actually this deluxe edition or just a regular retail edition.

Moreover, NIS America has revealed that artist gaha will be drawing some of the title’s bonding achievement illustrations across both Zero and Azure, while wolfy will be handling the main story achievement artwork across both games.

We’ll be sure to follow up as NIS America announces the actual release date for Trails to Azure and their other upcoming RPGs, such as The Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails and Trails into Reverie, all of which are expected to come to the west for PC, PS4 and Switch in 2023.
