The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure Gets Confirmed 2023 Western Release for PS4, Switch and PC

During today’s Falcom Anniversary live stream celebrating the developer’s 40-year presence, several titles that have remained Japanese exclusive have finally been confirmed to be receiving official western localizations.

One of these announced localizations by NIS America is The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, which is the direct sequel to The Legend of Heroes: Trails from Zero. The Crossbell duology games were initially released exclusively for Japan on the PSP after the Trails in the Sky trilogy concluded.

Trails to Azure has players take control of protagonist Lloyd Bannings months after the events of Trails from Zero. With new members joining the Special Support Section, various threats from political pressures from the Erebonian Empire and the Republic of Calvard to the supernatural begin to unravel Crossbell City at its seams. Players can finally experience the finale to the beloved Crossbell duology, witnessing masterful twists and endearing characterizations entangled within a thought-provoking narrative.

This release contains character cameos from the Trails of Cold Steel saga and carry-over save data for benefits in the upcoming Trails into Reverie!

The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure is releasing for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Epic Games Store in 2023.
