The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure — All Shining Pom Locations

Throughout The Legend of Heroes: Trails to Azure, rare enemies called Shining Poms grant high amounts of Sepith and experience points, making them ideal for grinding. However, they only appear at fixed spots, have high evasion, and tend to flee, so it’s recommended only to battle them when you have CP stored up for S-Crafts.

In all honesty, unless your first playthrough is on Nightmare, you’ll never find yourself in a position where you’ll really need to grind on these creatures. Still, their excess resources can be beneficial regardless. Although it’s also worth noting that their spawning is never guaranteed, and the only way to reset the odds of them appearing is by leaving the whole area and re-entering repeatedly.

I have listed all four Shining Pom locations below, describing their spawning spots and providing map screenshots for added precision. Since you have access to Turbo Mode, reaching the spawn spots will never take particularly long, but the East Crossbell Highway and Ursula Road Shining Poms are likely the quickest to farm.

East Crossbell Highway – Take the car/bus to Tangram Gate or the Boat House. The Shining Pom spawns at the three-way fork in the middle.

West Crossbell Highway – Take the bus to the intersection and head one screen to the top-right. Follow the path until you reach a circular dead-end to the left. The Shining Pom will appear here.

Mainz Mountain Path – Take the bus to the Doll Studio intersection at the crossroad and head one screen south. On this screen, you’ll see a treasure chest right away to the south containing an EP Charge. The Shining Pom will spawn north of it, just ahead of continuing on the road on the right.

Ursula Byroad – Take the bus to St. Ursula Medical College. Head left, past the fishing spot, and the Shining Pom will spawn in the middle of the next, and far more prominent, fork.
