The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak Reveals English Voice Cast

NIS America has shared the voice cast for the Falcom-developed adventure RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak.

Previously, only protagonist Van Arkride was announced, but the publisher has released a list of all the voice actors and their roles. The list is as follows:

In The Legend of Heroes: Trails Through Daybreak, players will encounter a variety of professions from within the Calvard Republic. These include roles such as detective work, negotiation, and bounty hunting. Van Arkride, the protagonist, specializes in handling jobs that can’t easily find their way to more legitimate channels. These tasks might involve situations beyond the scope of the police, secretive assignments, or even requests from underworld organizations. As long as the job pays well and doesn’t venture too far into morally ambiguous territory, Van Arkride is open to accepting almost any assignment.

Given that this is a new storyline in the series, many fans have been awaiting the reveal.

Set in the year 1208, the game’s story begins with a distinguished young lady from a prestigious academy. She visits a run-down, multi-tenant building in the downtown district of Edith, the capital of the nation. Upon arriving at the door, which bears the sign “ARKRIDE Solutions Office: Complicated Matters Only,” she regards it with a composed demeanor.

Key Features of the game include a revamped AT (Action Time) Battle system that seamlessly transitions from field battles to turn-based combat. The sixth-generation combat orbment, Xipha, introduces a unique combat experience specific to this installment of the Trails series. Moreover, players can utilize the Topic System, which lets them gather conversation topics through interactions with various characters throughout the city. These topics can be used strategically to gain advantages in battles.

The Alignment system is another notable feature, allowing players to modify their character’s three distinct attributes and influence various aspects of the game, including their status, allegiances, and how the storyline unfolds.
