The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War Anime Will Have 12 Episodes

Japanese outlet 4Gamer recently interviewed Makoto Koichi, the voice actress of Lavian Winslet, who is the protagonist of the upcoming The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel – Northern War anime.

This article is quite lengthy, but Falcom community member Hansuke spotted the voice actress confirming that the anime will comprise twelve episodes.

Our team’s Ryuji translated the following exchange:

Interviewer: How’s the recording process coming along?

Makoto Koichi: We already concluded the recording of all episodes. This was the first time for me to directly experience the series, but I was able to fully feel the beauty of them through these 12 episodes and I think most will feel the same after watching all of them.

This news isn’t too shocking, considering how a twelve episode-run is the norm for anime, but it’s nice to know regardless. Plus, fans now have a better idea of what to anticipate ahead of the Northern War series’ January 8, 2023, premiere.

Crunchyroll has confirmed that a dub for the anime is in the works.
