NIS America announced the western release date for the Falcom developed RPG The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III. The game will now release on PlayStation 4 on September 24 in North America, September 27 in Europe, and October 4 in Australia and New Zealand.
Additionally, the publisher released a large batch of new screenshots for players to check out. The screenshots mostly show off the returning characters to the game, which will be a nice reunion for some fans.
The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel III continues the story of Thors Military Academy student Rean Schwarzer as he and his classmates find themselves in the middle of a war. Over the course of the game, players will learn more about the characters and their personalities as well as the state of the region.
The game will feature turn-based combat where players can use Arts and Skills to take down enemies. Additionally, other powerful attacks are unlocked as the story goes on. This game also introduces a new “Break System”, which the player will explore throughout the game and NISA will provide further details on soon.
