The Last Campfire Reemerges for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC Summer Release

Hello Games has been rather quiet about their adventure The Last Campfire after its reveal. Most likely due to the focus the studio has had on their No Man’s Sky title. Regardless, the team has announced that The Last Campfire will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in summer 2020.

The Last Campfire tells the story of a lost ember who is trapped in a mysterious place. The idea of the game is that this character is searching for meaning and a way back home. It’s probably safe to assume there’s a message that players will discover through the puzzles and environments.

The developer also releases a new trailer, which is rather emotional. The gameplay gives players a previous of the lost ember interacting with the world and meeting a few new interesting characters along the way. Players also get a chance to see how they’ll take on some of the world’s puzzles and reveal more about the strange place.

The game also plays with the theme of fire as one of the ways that players will complete puzzles.
