The King of Fighters XV and Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 News Planned for January

SNK announced that they will share some news about the development of The King of Fighters XV and who you can expect from Samurai Shodown Season Pass 3 on January 7 via a live stream. The exact time will be announced soon.

The video will be hosted by The King of Fighters producer Yasuyuki Oda and creative director Eisuke Ogura. The two came together for a video posted today to promise more details about their projects in January.

Both Oda and Ogura claim the game will be SNK’s “most ambitious KOF yet,” with the team behind the latest entry “really proud” of the title they are putting together.

“The way teams are composed [in KOF XV] will differ greatly from XIV,” offers Ogura in the teaser trailer. “But more information will come out periodically next year, so, in the meantime, fire up those dream rosters!”

This will be the world premiere of The King of Fighters XV, where we can expect platform details and the starting roster of characters. Hopefully, the developer shows off a few fights, but we’ll have to wait and see. However, the team did reveal that Shun’El, Kyo Kusanagi, and Benimaru Nikaido will be in the game.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the news surrounding The King of Fighters XV and Samurai Shodown.
