Haruhi Suzumiya Reveals Physical Release Plans Leading Up to the Print Launch of The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya
Yen Press announced that they will fill up 2021 with the release of the physical “Yen On” edition of the Haruhi Suzumiya light novels, written by Nagaru Tanigawa with art by Noizi Ito.
Each title will be relaunched begin with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and The Sigh of Haruhi Suzumiya scheduled to release in January 2021. From then on, two additional volumes will be released every month until 2021.
This will lead right up to the print release of The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya, the newest volume of the light novel series, for a June 2021 release. This means that all ten of the previous Haruhi Suzumiya light novels will be available for collectors before the newest entry.
These rereleases will be published in paperback formation with the original cover art by Noizi Ito used in the Japanese and hardcore editions.
The digital release of The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya is scheduled for November 25, 2020, which is simultaneous with Japan.
The first volume of Haruhi Suzumiya was release in 2009 in a co-publishing agreement between Yen Press and Little, Brown Books for Young Readers. Since then, the series has grown to reach new audiences and introduce the light novel genre of books to western released. The series even received an anime in 2007 and several manga series released by Yen Press, which began in 2008.
