The House in Fata Morgana Developer Visual Novel ‘Seventh Lair’ Now Available on Switch
Developer NOVECT and publisher MangaGamer have announced that the former’s adventure visual novel, Seventh Lair, is now available on Nintendo Switch via the eShop for $7.99. This developer is more prominently known for creating The House in Fata Morgana.
Going with a metanarrative spin, Seventh Lair tells a story about the online interactions between an indie game developer and its fans. Michel is a 27-year-old developer who goes by the username Dark†Knight and shares his works on a small website called Royaume Heven. Unfortunately, fan interaction has been filled with trolls and insults, but some people really want to see his next work.
Michel decides to strive for an April Fool’s release, but something weird happens. Suddenly he and the fans end up in the fantasy world of his game, and the game is a buggy mess. Together they’ll have to fight and look for a way back, but fans will also show frustration and the raw emotions of their experiences in a much more personal experience than usual. This potential danger might lead them to show their true selves.
Seventh Lair is also available on PC via Steam.
