The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Rated in Taiwan for PlayStation 4, Switch and PC

In a miraculous twist of fate, the Taiwan Digital Game Rating Committee has rated a title known as The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.

For those unaware, The Great Ace Attorney titles are a prequel duology set hundreds of years before the original Ace Attorney titles’ events. Unfortunately, The Great Ace Attorney 1 and 2 have remained Japanese exclusive on 3DS and have never been officially localized in any capacity. This rating having ‘Chronicles’ in the title would mean that this package is a compilation of both titles.

This title’s existence was potentially leaked during the Capcom data breach, but it is always best not to assume that any of this news is definitive, even if rating boards have gotten involved.

The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles potentially getting fully realized will hopefully lead to Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney, Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Dual Destinies, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney – Spirit of Justice getting console and PC ports in the future, in the same vein the original trilogy did. Maybe even the Miles Edgeworth Investigations duology too. Alas, that is far too much to hope for; however, so as of now, the best we can do is remain patient and await more definitive news on The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles.
