The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles Shows Off Gameplay Mechanics in New Trailer
Capcom released a new gameplay trailer for The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles, coming to PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on July 27, 2021.
The trailer highlights some of the features of the game as players get to investigate areas. The main point of the gameplay is to show off “Summation Examination” and “Dance of Deduction.” During gameplay, Ryunosuke teams up with Sholmes to bounce ideas off each other in what is known as the Dance of Deduction. Here, players are tasked with proving Sholmes’ deductions wrong and getting to the truth.
Further, during the Summation Examination, players find themselves in the courtroom where they must provide evidence to receive a Not Guilty Verdict. New to this version is that players must point out the inconsistencies between jurors’ statements to move the case forward.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles has players assume the role of Ryunosuke Naruhodo, an aspiring Japanese attorney. This character is meant to be an ancestor of Phoenix Wright and will need to solve 10 cases in the late 19th century during Japan’s Meiji Period and England’s Victorian Era. However, he does have the help of Susato Mikatoba and Herlock Sholmes.
