Even After Seeing it Before, The Good Life is Still a Weird Game; New Trailer Shows English Gameplay
Playism released a new trailer for the White Owls-developed mystery adventure, The Good Life, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam in fall 2021.
The trailer is just the English version of the most recent trailer released in Japanese, but we get to hear some of the English VO and read the dialogue. The trailer details some of the game features, and it doesn’t matter how many times we see it; this game is weird. If a murder mystery wasn’t enough, there’s also the fact that residents of this town turn into animals at night.
Players assume the role of journalist photographer Naomi Hayward, who is on assignment in a small village where she doesn’t want to be. During gameplay, players can interact with the townspeople at night and take pictures to progress the narrative, but they’ll also need to explore at night as a cat to reach new areas. Yes, it seems the strangeness doesn’t know when to stop with this game, but it looks fun.
We’ll keep you updated on the development and release of The Good Life in the west.
For now, you can get a brief look at the English gameplay below to get a better idea of what’s in store:
