Indie Zeldalike Adventure ‘The Girl From Arkanya’ Fully Funded in Less Than 24 Hours

Top Hat Studios launched the Kickstarter campaign for the Arkanya Games-developed Zeldalike adventure, The Girl From Arkanya.

The team was asking for $10,000 to fund the project and ensure a release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2021. Well, the game has hit their goal in less than 24 hours and now they are onto knocking out stretch goals. Pledging $15 will get you a digital copy of the game.

The Girl From Akyanya is a 2D adventure RPG where players assume the role of a treasure hunter named Marisa, accompanied by her capybara companion, Kapi. Throughout the game, players will explore various environments as they collect treasure and face off against new challenges. This also requires them to control both Marisa and Kapi in dungeons.

The story is set in 1167 at the port city of Arkanya, which is becoming one wealthiest region. However, the future is uncertain as a neighboring tribe vanishes without a word. Furthermore, a war between two others rages to the North. So, while all this is taking place, it seems like Marisa is going to play a vital role in the resolution, or perhaps she will just get rich from all the conflict and confusion.
