Insane Shmup ‘The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special’ Announced for Switch With Physical Version Available

City Connection announced that the anime-theme arcade shoot ’em up The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special will be headed to Nintendo Switch this fall. The game will be available both digitally and physically, with the physical release handled by Dispatch Games.

The game can be pre-ordered now from Dispatch Games’ website.

“We are extremely pleased to bring such a beloved title to the west,” said Brian Schorr, Founder of Dispatch Games. “The Game Paradise: Crusin Mix Special adds yet another great shmup to our ever-growing library of shooters.”

The physical release will be provided in two different versions, a standard and limited edition, for $39.99 and $99.99, respectively.

The standard edition includes:

  • The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special for Nintendo Switch
  • DLC from the previous version included on the cart. (Clarice, Homura Banto, Voice pack + Tatsujin)

The limited-edition includes:

  • The Game Paradise: Cruisin Mix Special for Nintendo Switch
  • DLC from the previous version included on the cart. (Clarice, Homura Banto, Voice pack + Tatsujin)
  • Memorial Works art book
  • Vinyl album AND CD soundtrack set
  • 21 reproduction Jaleco game flyers
  • Custom Collectable Coin – Jaleco/Clarice Bomber

The Game Paradise: CrusinMix Special is an updated version of The Game Paradise: CrusinMix containing new remixed tracks for all characters and a new Clarice bomb along with other gameplay updates. The game features six different playable ships and eight levels that are definitely tough to forget considering how many video game genres they parody.

The Game Paradise: CrusinMix Special is available now on PS4 and PC.
