The Elder Scrolls Online Launches Greymoor Prologue Quest and Details Upcoming Free Play Event

ZeniMax announced that The Elder Scrolls Online players who want an early look at what’s to come in the Greymoor expansion can do so later today. The developer will release a free Greymoor Prologue quest to all players for free at 7 am PT later today.

The Greymoor Prologue quest will have players travel to the depths of Blackreach to confront the schemes of Skyrim’s nefarious Icereach Coven, as they progress through the Dark Heart of the Skyrim narrative and into the Greymoor Chapter. The quest also offers players the chance to grab some new collectible rewards as well. Once the prologue is open, players will find the Prologue Quest: The Coven Conspiracy in the in-game Crown Store. Players will then need to travel to the Fighter’s Guild in Daggerfall, Davon’s Watch, or Vulkhel Guard (depending on your alliance) and speak with Lyris Titanborn to accept the first of two quests.

Additionally, if you haven’t played The Elder Scrolls Online, the developer announced that the game will be free from April 1 through April 13. Those who jump into the game will also be able to take on the Greymoor Prologue quest for free. The free version will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC version, and will include the Base Game for free.
