The Darkside Detective Sequel Title Announced, A Fumble in the Dark

Publisher Akupara Games and developer Spooky Doorway have teamed up for the release of the second season of The Darkside Detective. This second season’s title is A Fumble in the Dark.

In The Darkside Detective, players control Detective McQueen and his sidekick, Officer Patrick Dooley in a serial point-and-click adventure as they investigate cases plaguing the city of Twin Lakes, America’s 34th most haunted city alongside its colorful citizens. Detective McQueen must solve six gruesome cases in order to bring peace to this unfortunately ill fated town.

Paul Conway, the Lead Artist of Spooky Doorway had this to say regarding the announcement:

““We’re excited to announce the full title of our next game in The Darkside Detective series. A Fumble inthe Dark is a bigger, longer and funnier instalment and we can’t wait to unleash its ghoulish adventures. Dooley and McQueen are here to investigate and things are going to get weird.”

The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark is currently scheduled for an early 2021 release on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam, Max and Linux. The demo for this second installment is also currently available on the Steam store.
