The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan Gets Release Date for PS4, Xbox One, and PC
Bandai Namco announced that the Supermassive Games developed narrative-driven adventure The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on August 30.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan will launch with Day 1 access to the “Curator’s Cut”, which players can pre-order today. This version of the game allows players to view alternate paths through the game and experience it through additional perspective. The story will reveal new secrets each time the game is completed, which unlocks new possibilities for the player.
The Curator’s Cut will be made available to players post-launch, but not until a later date.
During The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan, players will make decisions that they have to live with. Some of these choices can cause characters to die and thus altering the game’s narrative. This is similar to the developer’s previous title Until Dawn, which was a huge success in terms of story design and gameplay. The game follows the story of 5 stowaways who embarked on a journey in a stormy sea.
