Bandai Namco released a new developer diary from the Supermassive-developed horror adventure The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 30.
The video takes viewers to Pinewood Studios, where the motion capture for the game was developed. The series is broken up into two parts, explaining different ways the team has used the technology to immerse players in the nightmarish world better. Additionally, viewers get a sense of the challenges that a team may face when bringing these characters to life.
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope continues the series’s horror adventure elements as players are tasked with doing whatever they can to stay alive through a nightmare. During gameplay, players will make choices that affect the characters’ relationship and their chances of survival.
The gameplay also encourages exploration as players look for clues and piece together the mystery, which isn’t also helpful in surviving a sudden supernatural attack. Still, at least you get to learn more about killing ghosts.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, as we wait for a proper release date.
