Bandai Namco released almost 8-minutes of gameplay from the Supermassive-developed horror adventure The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC in Fall 2020.
The trailer shows the new group of characters exploring the fog and wishing that everything they are experiencing is some sort of dream or trick. The trailer highlights the exploration portion of gameplay as well as interaction with the characters, which weighs on the game’s narrative direction.
The Dark Pictures: Little Hope continues the horror adventure elements of the series as players are tasked with doing whatever they can to stay alive through a nightmare. During gameplay, players will make choices that affect the relationship of the characters and their chances of survival.
The gameplay also encourages exploration as players look for clues and piece together the mystery, which isn’t also helpful in surviving a sudden supernatural attack. Still, at least you get to learn more about killing ghosts.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of The Dark Pictures: Little Hope, as we wait for a proper release date.
