The Danganronpa Trilogy Confirmed for Mobile Release in the West With Added Features
Spike Chunsoft is celebrating the 10th anniversary of the Danganronpa series. The publisher has a few plans for how to celebrate, starting with the announcement of Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc, Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair, and Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony coming to mobile devices in the west.
The mobile release of the trilogy will release on both iOS and Android and will include a brand new UI, which differs from its console counterpart. The game will consist of touch controls for players to investigate environments as they participate in the dead set. The developer has also added a new gallery function for easy access to illustrations, event scenes, voice lines, and concept materials.
Sadly, a release date was not provided, but I’m sure we’ll hear more news soon.
The Danganronpa trilogy stars a group of characters who must play a death game hosted by the bear of despair Monokuma. In order to escape, you have to get away with murder. After someone is killed, a trial is held where you must use clues to piece together facts and find the one who committed the crime. If you choose the correct person, well, they’ll also meet an untimely death.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the mobile release of three titles.
