The Cruel King and the Great Hero Gets Charming Story Trailer Introducing Characters

NIS America released a new story trailer for The Cruel King and the Great Hero, coming to PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in early 2022.

The trailer highlights a child who is raised by a dragon and the adventures that they share daily. It’s almost adorable to see the two interact, but you know they will face some trials throughout the narrative. The Cruel King and the Great Hero tells the story of a young girl called Yuu who was raised by a dragon. She dreams of becoming a hero like her father, so she goes on many adventures.

The Cruel King and the Great Hero features a storybook-inspired art style by childhood storybooks. The project is written and illustrated by Sayaka Oda, who also worked on The Liar Princess and The Blind Prince.

As the player explores the areas, it’ll be possible to find hidden items. In addition, they will unlock illustrations, character profiles, and other goodies for the game gallery.
