Doujin Adventure ‘The Case Book of Arne’ Gets Western Release Date on PC
Playism announced that the Game Magazine-developed adventure mystery game, The Case Book of Arne, will launch on PC-via Steam in the west on October 29.
The Case Book of Arne tells the story of a vampire and a young woman and the connection that they share. The entire narrative weaves in a mystery between the two characters who each hold their own secrets.
Players are introduced to Lynn Reinweiß, a nobleman’s daughter who loves vampires, and Arne Neuntöte, a vampire. The two probably should never have met, but they are joined together to solve a murder mystery.
The game features supernatural elements where players will explore to find clues that appear throughout the “Problem” episode to solve the crime in this orthodox detective mystery. This release brings you the first case “The Reinweiß Murder” and the Interlude “The Monster Festival”.
The game is divided into “Problem” and “Solve” episodes. In Japan, the “Solve” episode was preceded by a massive “Guess Who” session, in which over 1,000 people participated. Solving the mystery with “special rules” involving zombies, vampires, and other monsters have been highly praised by experts in authentic mystery.
