Striking Distance Studios has shared the official launch trailer for their upcoming survival horror adventure, The Callisto Protocol. In case you missed it, the game was recently canceled in Japan due to its content being deemed unsuitable by rating boards.
This trailer primarily emphasizes the title’s disturbing ambiance, gore-filled combat, troubled cast, and dreary scenery. There have been constant jokes about this game’s similarities to Dead Space, but it definitely carries its spirit.

The Callisto Protocol is set in 2320, where players take on the role of a prisoner named Jacob Lee. Stuck in the prison colony of Black Iron, his only goal is to escape an alien invasion that users in a host of creatures.
