The Callisto Protocol Highlights More Gameplay That Looks Like Dead Space, But It’s Not

Krafton released new gameplay from the Striking Distance Studios-developed survival horror adventure, The Callisto Protocol, coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC on December 2, 2022.

The gameplay highlights many of the dark corridors and scary monsters that players will encounter. Led by Glen Schofield, the co-creator of Dead Space, the game features many gameplay systems that Dead Space fans might remember. This includes shooting the limbs off of enemies and picking up dropped items. Further, we get to see a new death animation.

The Callisto Protocol is set in 2320 where players take on the role of a prisoner named Jacob Lee. Stuck on the prison colony of Black Iron, his only goal is to escape an alien invasion that users in a host of creatures.
