The Callisto Protocol Receives Higher Difficulty, New Death Animations, and More as DLC Within the Contagion Bundle
Krafton released a trailer showcasing the Contagion Bundle available now for the Striking Distance Studios-developed survival horror adventure, The Callisto Protocol, on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
The Contagion Bundle DLC is available as a standalone purchase, the Season Pass, or the Digital Deluxe edition.
Players who purchase the DLC can play through the game in a new Contagion Mode, which has been custom balanced with stronger enemies, limited resources, and no manual saves. Players will have to restart the chapter if they die. Further, there are 14 new death animations to view if you’re killed by enemies. Lastly, the DLC includes the Watchtower Skin Collection, a UJC-themed pack of player and weapon skins for all your gear.
The Callisto Protocol is set in 2320, where players take on the role of a prisoner named Jacob Lee. Stuck on the prison colony of Black Iron, his only goal is to escape an alien invasion that users in a host of creatures.
