Gamera Games announced that the Softstar Entertainment-developed horror adventure The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication will receive a free demo during Steam Next Fest, beginning on October 9 through October 16, 2023.
The demo will feature a portion of the game where players can probably expect to get a little scared. This is a follow-up to the 2022 release, The Bridge Curse: The Extrication.
The Bridge Curse 2: The Extrication takes place at Wen Hua University, renowned among Taiwan’s educational institutions for its unsettling ghostly legends. To bolster their film club’s ranks, a group of students devises the Carnival of Horror within the infamous Da Ren building, steeped in eerie tales of spectral encounters. Their ambitious plan involves reenacting a mysterious campus incident from decades past, intending to transform it into a chilling horror movie. However, as they hastily commence nighttime filming, inexplicable occurrences begin to disrupt their efforts.
Concurrently, a determined reporter arrives on campus, prompted by a disquieting letter, with the aim of unraveling a perplexing cold case involving a missing person from the past. As the reporter meticulously assembles various clues, a shadowy enigma begins to unravel, hinting at an extensive conspiracy concealed in darkness, poised to resurface.
Amid their frantic attempts to flee, the malevolent entity responsible for the haunted building gradually unveils itself. With otherworldly forces closing in and imminent peril looming, the question arises: will anyone survive the harrowing ordeals of this fateful night?
