Point-and-Click Adventure ‘The Blind Prophet’ Gets PC Release Date and New Screenshots

Ars Goetia Games announced that their point-and-click adventure game, The Blind Prophet, will launch on PC-via Steam on January 10, 2020. The PS4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and iOS and Android versions will launch at a later date.

Leading up to its release, the developer has made some considerable advancements in the game’s development. To showcase this, they have shared new screenshots of the game’s location and characters.

The Blind Prophet is inspired by the aesthetic of  Blade Runner and the mechanics of Broken Sword. Players assume the role of apostle Bartholomeus as he is on a mission to liberate the corrupted city of Rotbork. To do so, he must encounter a Great Evil that lurks within the city limits.

The game features traditional point-and-click gameplay mechanics with puzzles that are sure to test the skills and imagination of players. The game’s story focuses on a handful of charismatic characters that players will need to interact with as they progress the game’s narrative. The game also features choices during dialogue and a storyline of philosophy, redemption, and moral struggle. Also, the game’s 99 panels have been hand-drawn with plenty of small details for players to uncover.
