The Art of Octopath Traveler Releasing West December 2023; 224 Pages

Square Enix and Dark Horse Books have listed The Art of Octopath Traveler for an official Western release. This 224-page hardcover book, priced at $49.99, is scheduled to launch on December 12, 2023.

Fans can anticipate over 200 pages of concept art and developer commentary showcasing the original Octopath Traveler and the ongoing mobile entry Octopath Traveler: Champions of the Continent.

Throughout this ambitious sequel, players control eight main characters who all face their own unique plights in different parts of Solistia. Further, they all boast unique Jobs, abilities, and even specific stories where duos of the cast interact with each other far more.

This feature was implemented following feedback from the first entry. Regarding gameplay specifics, every party member now has two Path Actions, changed depending on the time of day, adding further character variety and strategy to consider when on the road and in towns.
