Visual Novel RPG ‘The Alchemist of Ars Magna’ Gets March Release Date on PC
PGN Games announced that the ninetail-developed visual novel RPG The Alchemist of Ars Magna will launch on PC via Steam on March 31, 2023.
The Alchemist of Ars Magna tells the story of a young alchemist who finds himself at the doors of the Cagliostro Academy. Their duty is to protect the world from the rage of the gods, who are actively trying to devour the world.
Gameplay follows and RPG format where players will meet new characters to join their party, adventure, and level up various skills. Further, abilities are gained through research, study, and love. Yes, it’s also a romance game, but we’ll get to that.
The world is controlled by man-made gods, with Dust being the entity that calls for destruction. Not only does it turn everything in its path into dust, but also contaminates the gods, turning them heinous. Players will make a pact with Origin and save the world. There’s equipment available to manage stats and a gameplay loop where players will adventure out to take on missions. The protagonist currently has the Philosopher’s Stone in his body, which allows him to convert dust and ash into energy, but if he uses this body, he risks contamination himself.
The game also will feature its adult patch available to players who wish to get a little more personal with the cast of heroines. The patch will be available at launch from the publisher. Given the developer, you can assume the content will be on the kinky side.
