Tactical RPG ‘Grand Guilds’ Receives Switch and PC Release Window

Keybol Games announced that the Drix Studios-developed tactical card-based RPG, Grand Guilds, will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam in Q1 2020.

After a successful Kickstarter campaign, the one-man studio is aiming to officially launch this adventure. Grand Guilds is a story-driven, turn-based RPG with card combat mechanics. Players will make their way through the continent of Irin as war looms in every region. It seems that theirs a mystery to uncover that has been plaguing the guilds. The story follows Eliza as she and her companions make their way through the world.

“Each playable character in Grand Guilds has unique mechanics and abilities”, says Justin, founder of Drix Studios. “They even shout out their actions in combat and express their feelings during dialogues”.

During gameplay, players will enter strategic combat where they’ll need to move their characters across a grid-based map. Players are able to create decks of skills and abilities for their units that make each turn rely on the heart of the cards, or just better planning. Also, the game features Guild quests where players can increase their reputation by succeeding on missions along with earning bonuses.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on Grand Guilds’ progress as it is also in development for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
