Publisher Reef Entertainment and developer Bitmap Bureau have announced that their 2D action game, Terminator 2D: NO FATE, is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
This news follows the game’s multiple delays from earlier this year, with a new trailer accompanying the release.
Set within Terminator 2: Judgment Day, players can anticipate controlling Sarah Connor, the T-800, and John Connor in a mix of iconic movie moments and brand-new original scenarios with multiple endings.
As Sarah and the T-800 players battle against the T-1000, John Connor will lead the Resistance in the war against Skynet in the future.
Terminator 2D: NO FATE boasts classic arcade-style gameplay, featuring side-scrolling combat, pixel-art visuals, and a cinematic soundtrack that blends reimagined compositions from the original Terminator 2 score with new music.
Players can engage in multiple modes, including Story Mode, Arcade Mode, Infinite Mode, Boss Rush, Mother of the Future, and Level Training.
