Tekken 7 Sells 10 Million Units Worldwide; Franchise Sells 54 Million Units

Katsuhiro Harada, the producer of the acclaimed Tekken franchise, has announced that the series’ latest outing, Tekken 7, has sold over 10 million units worldwide, which is quite a monumental feat.

Additionally, when this total is added to the franchise’s collective sales units, the Tekken IP has sold over 54 million units worldwide. With Tekken 8 recently announced, it’s worth wondering if that title will achieve the same success as its predecessor. Regardless, congratulations to Harada, Bandai Namco, and everyone else who worked on this entry.
