Tekken 7 Definitive Edition Launches for the Handful of Players Who Don’t Own This Game Yet
Bandai Namco announced that players who don’t own their arena fighter Tekken 7 yet, can jump in with a fighting chance with the launch on Tekken 7 Definitive Edition, available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam.
Tekken 7’ Definitive Edition comes with the entire game, bonus Eliza character, and all-season pass DLCs from 1-4; making this the one edition to rule them all. For those looking for a more streamlined version, there is also a new Originals Edition available that includes the full game and 12 TEKKEN DLC characters along with the New Frame Rate Data Feature.
A trailer has been released revealing all the editions have to offer. Not bad for a nearly 7-year-old game. Both editions are available digitally.
Tekken 7 was released in 2015 and has seen regular updates in balances and new characters over the years. The series features a large roster of fighters that have players utilize 3D stages to take down opponents. Fighting in Tekken is known for its unique style of hard-hitting over-the-top characters while featuring refined combat systems.
This is said to be the last character in the series, which will take Tekken 7 to a new console generation. So for now, we await any news of a possible Tekken 8, but honestly, Bandai Namco can probably ride this way for a while, depending on how popular Lidia is as the newest original character added to the series
Tekken 7 is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
