Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Highlights Splinter Gameplay in New Trailer; PS4 and Xbox One Release Confirmed

Dotemu launched a new trailer for the Tribute Games-developed beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, in development for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam.

The trailer highlights gameplay from Master Splinter who pretty much wipes the field with quick jabs against enemies using his staff. This character unleashes particularly powerful attacks using wide-reaching special ninja moves while bashing through groups of enemies “as efficiently as the Turtles chowing down on a pizza.”

In partnership with Nickelodeon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will feature all four turtles in a pixel art world that dates back to a classic 1987 design. The game received a trailer that shows off these characters as they prepare for their upcoming adventure. Faith No More’s Mike Patton sings the theme song.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge joins two retro gaming experts: Dotemu, the developer and publisher known for faithful ports and impeccable remakes and continuations of beloved gaming series including Streets of Rage 4 as well as the upcoming Windjammers 2 and highly lauded.

Tribute Games, the studio behind retro-themed original IPs, including Panzer Paladin, Flinthook, and Mercenary Kings, embody classic games’ spirit in new experiences. Tribute Games also houses key talent behind the acclaimed Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game beat-em-up and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game released for Game Boy Advance in 2007.
