Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Adds Casey Jones With 6-Player Multiplayer; Releases Next Week!
During Summer Game Fest 2022, Dotemu announced that the Tribute Games-developed beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on June 16, 2022.
Along with the release date announcement, the developer shared that Casey Jones will be added to the roster.
In partnership with Nickelodeon, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will feature all four turtles in a pixel art world that dates back to a classic 1987 design. The game received a trailer that shows off these characters as they prepare for their upcoming adventure. Faith No More’s Mike Patton sings the theme song.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge joins two retro gaming experts: Dotemu, the developer and publisher known for faithful ports and impeccable remakes and continuations of beloved gaming series including Streets of Rage 4 as well as the upcoming Windjammers 2 and highly lauded.
Tribute Games, the studio behind retro-themed original IPs, including Panzer Paladin, Flinthook, and Mercenary Kings, embody classic games’ spirit in new experiences. Tribute Games also houses key talent behind the acclaimed Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game beat-em-up and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game released for Game Boy Advance in 2007.
