Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge Details Survival Mode Update Launching Later This Year in New Gameplay Video

Dotemu announced that the Tribute Games-developed beat-em-up Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will receive a Survival Mode DLC update later this year on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.

The developers have released a new video through PlayStation Underground to show off the features and provide details of the update. As part of the recently announced Dimension Shellshock DLC, Survival Mode introduces collectible crystals that allow you to jump from dimension to dimension, with each dimension featuring its own unique look and feel. The extended footage tours the Edo dimension, inspired by Japan; the four Turtles in 8-bit backgrounds; and Splinter, Casey, April, and Usagi in Omnichannel 6.

The DLC also includes original music from the soundtrack’s composer Tee Lopes and alternative color schemes for playable fighters, which have yet to be revealed. Separate from Dimension Shellshock, a second free update will be released for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge offering an additional range of color palette options.

The Dimension Shellshock DLC and upcoming update follow a previous free December release which added Custom Game options, giving fans extraordinary control over the way they kick shell through 11 mix-and-match modifiers along with retro-themed visual filters and an extra large serving of general refinements.
