Rise Up! Otome ‘Tears of Themis’ Gets Western Release Date

The wait is finally over! After many, many crypto code riddles and trailers (seriously, I’ve had it with the ASCII and Caesar shifting riddles…), developer MiHoYo has finally unveiled the release date of Tears of Themis, the otome mobile game we took a look back in May of this year when it was still in its closed beta phase.

In a Twitter post, it was announced that the game will be releasing on July 29, 2021, for both Android and iOS devices, and as of the time of this writing, players can enter a giveaway to win physical merch or a $100 iTunes/Google Play Gift Card.

Furthermore, another special website was released. In this one, players must solve five different jigsaw puzzles and, by doing so, can get a reward of 180 S-Chips when the game releases.

There’s also the pre-registration website, which we’ve discussed previously, but as a quick TL;DR, if 500,000 people pre-register, players can get various rewards, such as Tears of Themis and S-Chips, and more. As of the time of this writing, roughly 418,000 people have pre-registered for the game.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Tears of Themis in the west and all other news from developer miHoYo.
