Strategy RPG ‘Tears of Avia’ Gets Xbox One and PC Release Date With 8 Minutes of New Gameplay

PQube released new gameplay for the CooCooSqueaky-developed strategy RPG, Tears of Avia, coming to Xbox One and PC-via Steam on its new release date of September 24.

The game focuses on a few different features within the game include exploring the town to buy various things and battles. I didn’t expect the game to have a fully explorable town so the trailer is a nice preview of the gameplay.

Tears of Avia is a turn-based strategy game where players will find themselves in the world of Estera. Sadly, the world is falling on hard times as war between two very different city-states, Tirig, a military stronghold who praise the Gods, and Helmgar, a godless region.

Players put together a party to travel and discover the secrets behind abandoned cities and learn more about their own morality. Each character has unique abilities, but also personalities. Their views shape their relationship with the other members, which might cause some tiffs to grow.

Throughout the story, players will shape the narrative of the adventure as they search for the forgotten city of Avalon. Every action they take influences the story, but there are no right or wrong choices. Still, there are consequences for each action.
