Tales of the Rays Scarlet Nexus Collaboration Announced
Bandai Namco has announced that their Japan-only mobile game, Tales of the Rays, will have a collaboration with their console action JRPG, Scarlet Nexus. Only protagonist Kasane Randall from the latter title will appear in this collab, but several Tales of characters will alter their appearances to reflect Scarlet Nexus characters.
Leia from Tales of Xillia is dressed as Hanabi, and Veigue Lungberg from Tales of Rebirth depicts Karen. Additionally, Ix Nieves and Mercuria, the protagonist and antagonist of Tales of the Rays, respectively, are Yuito and Arashi. Thanks to our team’s Ryuji for translating this information.

Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the latest versions as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable events and improved maritime navigation.
