Tales of Symphonia Remastered Reveals Japan-Only Super Special Edition
Bandai Namco and Sony have revealed special Japan-exclusive editions for the upcoming Tales of Symphonia Remastered. The contents are listed and translated below via our team’s Ryuji:
Super Special Edition – ¥27,478
- Limited Edition Painting drawn by Kōsuke Fujishima. Comes with a serial number because this edition is in limited quantity.
- Character 2-Cup Set
- Character Coaster
- Sticker Sheet
- Pass Case (Thin sheet used to store IDs and credit cards)
Special Edition – ¥13,178
- All of the items of the Super Special Edition, minus the Limited Edition Painting
Regular copy/Digital copy – ¥5,478
- A Tales of Symphonia amusement park collaboration was recently announced for Japan.

Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the PlayStation 3 version as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable events and improved maritime navigation.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered will launch Westward for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch on February 17, 2023.
