Bandai Namco has announced that to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the most iconic Tales of entry, Tales of Symphonia, they’ll be selling official alcohol.
Costing a whopping ¥12,650, pre-orders are available until September 19, 2023, with payment itself due on September 22, 2023. Additionally, shipments are expected to occur in late November 2023. Fans of age can anticipate French Bordeaux red wine comprised of 13% alcohol, with the Tales of Symphonia key art engraved onto the bottle.
Further, there is a separate glass, also with Tales of Symphonia branding, for ¥12,100. In total, you’re looking at over ¥24,000 yen for both items. Yikes.

Tales of Symphonia was initially released for the Gamecube worldwide before receiving a Japanese-exclusive PlayStation 2 version that added more content. That same version would launch worldwide for PlayStation 3 and then eventually PC via Steam. This upcoming remaster is using the latest versions as the basis, though several new features are arriving, such as skippable anime events and improved maritime navigation.
Tales of Symphonia Remastered is now available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.
